Back in the 1900’s
I’ve always had a soft spot for the name Crunchy Frog. I first came across it decades ago—back in the dial-up days—while browsing a BBS. I can’t recall much about the site, except an image of a frog that somehow lodged itself in my memory and never let go. It wasn’t until years later that I learned about the Monty Python skit most folks associate with the name. My own “Crunchy Frog” has always meant something different—quirky, curious, unforgettable. I loved the idea so much I invested in the domain and even had a logo professionally designed.
Fast-forward forty years, and here we are.
A little about me: I’m a Christian, a husband, a father, and an endlessly curious soul. I thrive on exploring new things—some might call them “crazy,” but I call them fun. From woodworking and 3D printing to experimenting with laser engraving, my hands are usually busy bringing ideas to life. You’ll see the evidence sprinkled throughout this site.
As an introvert, putting myself out there—sharing personal thoughts and creative projects—is no small thing. But I’m taking the leap, because this space isn’t just about me. It’s about encouraging others, sparking creativity, and connecting through the joy of making.
So whether you’re here to peek at my projects, find inspiration, or just enjoy the spirit of curiosity, welcome. I’m glad you stopped by.
